How do I connect my WhatsApp Business number to Cincht?
You need a Meta Business account and a phone number not already registered on WhatsApp. In Cincht, go to Settings → WhatsApp → Connect Number and follow the step-by-step wizard. It takes about 5 minutes.
What types of messages can I send through WhatsApp?
You can send two types: (1) Template messages — pre-approved by Meta, used for marketing, utility notifications, and authentication. (2) Session messages — free-form replies within a 24-hour customer-initiated window. Cincht supports both.
How long does template approval take?
Utility and authentication templates are typically approved within 24-48 hours. Marketing templates can take 3-7 business days. Cincht provides approval tips and best practices to maximise your approval rate on the first submission.
Can I import my existing contacts?
Yes. You can import contacts from a CSV file with any fields you want to capture. Cincht also integrates with CRMs like HubSpot and Salesforce so your contacts stay in sync automatically.
How does the WhatsApp wallet work?
WhatsApp charges per conversation, separate from your Cincht subscription. You top up a prepaid wallet with credits, and message costs are automatically deducted. You'll receive low-balance alerts so you never run out unexpectedly.
Can I run Cincht in multiple countries?
Absolutely. Cincht supports 190+ countries. You can have multiple WhatsApp numbers from different countries in a single account, with separate inboxes, agents, and analytics for each market.
How do automation flows work?
Automation flows are visual drag-and-drop sequences of triggers, conditions, and actions. For example: a customer messages 'ORDER STATUS' → Cincht checks your order system → sends a personalised reply. No coding required.
Is Cincht GDPR compliant?
Yes. Cincht is GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA-ready. We sign Data Processing Agreements with all customers, maintain SOC 2 Type II certification, and provide tools for managing consent and data deletion requests.
